I recently watched a TED talk by Simon Sinek which I thought was both simple and inspirational. It inspired me to read his latest book, "Start with Why". The book was difficult for me to put down, and I read it in a weekend. His examples are excellent and can be directly applied to public education. His talk is a great synopsis of the book:
